Bei Einsatz von Schutzfolien ist in Abhängigkeit der Gleitfähigkeit der Folienoberfläche zwischen PC/EL und POM zu unterscheiden. Die richtige Wahl kann hierbei nur durch entsprechende Versuche herausgefunden werden. Hierbei gilt, dass Spitzen aus PC/EL für harte und glatte (glasähnliche) Oberflächen und Spitzen aus POM für harte und matte (papierähnliche) Oberflächen geeignet sind.
