Der Fluidkopf Ace M ist mit einem Traglastbereich von null bis vier Kilogramm ideal für professionelles Arbeiten mit leichten HDV-Camcorder und videofähigen DSLR-Kameras. Ein Gewichtsausgleich in fünf Stufen gestattet schnelles Ausbalancieren des Kameraaufbaus, während die spezielle Dämpfung SA-dragTM mit je drei Dämpfungsstufen vertikal und horizontal (+0) feine Abstufungen für präzises Schwenken und Neigen ermöglicht. Der Neigebereich des Fluidkopfs liegt bei +90° bis -75°. Ace M besteht aus glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff, der dem Filmer eine angenehme und griffige Haptik bietet. Der 75-mm-Fluidkopf ist dadurch außerdem besonders leicht.

Ace M wird mit der Ace Platte geliefert. Diese beinhaltet eine 1/4 Zoll Schraube und Pin. Ersatzkameraschrauben (1/4 Zoll und 3/8 Zoll) befinden sich in der Balanceplatte.

Das Sachtler System Ace M GS besteht aus dem Fluidkopf Ace M, dem Stativ Ace 75/2 D, der Bodenspinne SP 75 und der Polstertasche 9114.
