Der RØDE PG2-R ist eine Pistolengriff-Stoßdämpferhalterung zur Reduzierung von Geräuschen bei Aufnahmen mit Richtrohrmikrofonen in Hand- oder Boompole-Anwendungen.

Der PG2-R ist mit zwei Rycote-Lyre-Halterungen ausgestattet, die den maximalen Schutz vor Erschütterungen gewährleisten, vier möglichen Befestigungspunkten für die gesamte Palette der kompatiblen RØDE Richtrohrmikrofone und einem integrierten Kabelmanagement-Befestigungsclip.

Der leichte Handgriff verbessert sowohl die Ergonomie als auch die Funktionalität. Der gepolsterte Griff bietet Platz für mehrere Kabelbefestigungspunkte und bietet Platz für den PG2-R Pro Cable XLR-Stecker, der bündig mit dem Sockel abschließt und so eine einfache Anschlussmöglichkeit bietet. Eine robuste, seitlich am Handgriff angebrachte Sicherungsmutter sorgt für eine leichtgängige Einstellung des Mikrofonwinkels, während ein 3/8"-Gewinde am Griffboden für eine sichere Verbindung zu Mikrofonstativen sorgt.
