Der Scanner arbeitet völlig selbstständig, es muss lediglich das Magazin in den Scanner eingeschoben und die Anzahl der zu scannenden Dias in die Software eingegeben werden. Die Scansoftware bietet zudem Automatik-Funktionen für Belichtung, Farbe und Kontrast. Mit dem Feature AutoColor können zudem stark farbstichige Dias rekonstruiert werden.
